Scholarship Awards

Each year, since 1997 Quota Club of Fort Lauderdale has awarded a $1000 scholarship to the Fort Lauderdale High School graduating student who has logged the most community service hours.  

The 2021 recipient worked 993 hours of community service.

An average of $6000 (total) in College Scholarships are given annually to students who are deaf, hard of hearing (DHH), or studying to help the DHH population. 

New applications are not being accepted at this time.  Six students are supported throughout their college years, if they continue their studies and maintain good grades.  As they graduate, new applications (including vocational scholarships) will be considered.
