QUOTA'S MOTTO -- "WE SHARE!"

Quota International’s members change lives through service and friendship for the deaf, hard-of-hearing, people with speech difficulties and disadvantaged women and children in local communities around the world.  Founded in 1919, Quota International is one of the oldest international service organizations for women.  Today, membership also includes men and youth in North America, South America, the Caribbean, the South Pacific, Southeast Asia, and  Europe.

Quota links members of all ages, occupations, and nationalities in a network of service and friendship.  An international convention is held every other year, where representatives from clubs around the world meet to share ideas.

Quota International of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is located in Region 8 of Quota International, Inc., which is comprised of clubs in the states of Florida and Georgia.  Annual meetings are held by Region 8 in May of each year.

QUOTA’S OBJECTIVES

To serve community, country and world.

To promote high ethical standards.

To develop good  fellowship and friendship.

To emphasize the dignity of all useful occupations.
